Northridge has outstanding, qualified teachers. They have high standards which they encourage the children to achieve with excellent instruction and care and compassion. My child has had troubles in the past with behaviors, but his teacher this year has looked past the behavior, to the child. He is a different person. I owe that to the Northridge staff.

When you see smiling faces, and attentive service to students, you know you, and your child are in a wonderful environment. The teachers are overqualified and they meet the needs of all the students. You know your child is safe when there are teachers outside making sure everything is in order when you drop your students off in the morning. You know your child is safe when teachers help students cross the streets in the afternoon. You know your child is safe when you pick your student up and you see teachers waiting outside, making sure everybody gets home. You know everything is going smoothly when you have a principal caring for all the students. You know your child is learning when they intergrate fun activites with the learning, making their day a good one.

My two children are new to Northridge, and they love it! We had heard great things about Northridge from several people, and it has definately lived up to our expectations 100%! The teachers are very student centered and the academics are appropriately challenging. We are really glad that we live in the Northridge School District!
