My children have attended CCE for 4 years now and we love it! The teachers go above and beyond for their students. They volunteer their time after school 1 day a week for a program called Comet Academy for students that need extra help. At no cost to the parents! Both of my children attended K at CCE and have an excellent program. I think it comes down to if you are going all day or half a day. My children went all day and boy could I tell a difference. It is a close nit community with not as much overcrowding as Manchester Park and some of your others.
Our first year at Cedar Creek scholastically was outstanding. Our teacher, principal and staff were efficient and on top of their game. However, certain parents and children need a good swift kick in the butt!!
We enjoyed our first year at CCE, especially our teacher, principal and staff. However, we were not welcomed by some of the other parents and their children were not as accepting to the new student either. **SIGH** We look forward to the fall, and new adventures with these people (nice and not so nice) at CCE.
My son has attended Cedar Creek Elementary for five years. The teachers are caring and attentive. The principal is involved, responsive, and approachable. Our daughter will start attending CCE next year. If this school had leadership problems and/or lax standards, I can assure you we would not be sending our second child to CCE.
My kids went to a private school 3 years prior to attending Cedar Creek and when we decided that the private school wasn't everthing we hoped it would be we made the choice to try public schools. WOW!! What an awesome school! I only wish we would have started at Cedar Creek! My kids have learned so much, grown to be more confident and love every teacher they have had there and so have I! We are so lucky and blessed to have found such a great school and I could not imagine my kids anywhere else! Cedar Creek has become so special to us and I truly believe they are getting the best education they could possibly get at CCE!!! I also cannot imagine anyone having something bad to say about this school and the principal, she is GREAT!
I was not impressed with the Kindergarten curriculuum. Our child now attends another school.
We are completely impressed with this school! My son is already reading, and he is only in his second month of Kindergarten! The teachers and administration are very attentive and caring. The parent involvement is very high at this school which says a lot for how most of the parents really feel. I can't imagine why anyone would have anything negative to say about Cedar Creek. It is far better than some of the other schools in Johnson County where some of my friends' kids attend. They don't even compare! We are very happy here.
We found the principal to be an extremely ineffective principal. The school is completely lax in it standards. I would not recommend this school to anyone who wants a quality education.
