My child attends the 1st/2nd grade combined class at OPA. The individualized curriculum has allowed her to have very accessible accelerated learning opportunities and we chose this school after looking into many of the schools in the KC area and even exploring homeschooling. The small class sizes are amazing here and we are thrilled with how our child is progressing. The emphasis on Math, Science and Technology at the school has been very impressive and it is quite interesting to hear our 1st grader discuss DNA. They also focus on English, Humanities, Art, Spanish, Music and PE. The teachers are great and the principal, Dr. Mabel, knows every child and cares about each one. This school provides many opportunities that most do not. The parents are very involved and active in helping at the school. http://www.oxfordparkacademy.org
