Having all my childern graduate from Sacred Heart I can say they have received a top notch education. The mix of kids from all walks of life are very evident and with the catholic atmosphere you can't beat it. The school is rich in tradition in not only sports but in academics as the state banners show (took State in Quiz Bowl last year). Overall you get what you put in. The opportunities are there if you want them!

I am in my sophmore year at SHHS and am satisfied with the school. We do need a new principle... badly. Our teaching staff is marvelous and push you to your full potential. However, there are two problems with SHHS; extremely into athletics and probably close to 80% comes from money or has money. Small classes of about 35 each gives a 'know-everyone' feel. Overall, good school!

I think that the public school offers a much more robust choice of classes and a stronger teaching staff. I would not recommend this school to parents who do not have children who want to compete in sports as there are very few outside choices for non-atheletes. Very political environment.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
