Westridge Middle School

I have had 2 children go through Westridge. I was apprehensive about leaving our wonderful elementary school, but was very pleased with their experiences at Westridge. I was very impressed with the teachers and principals. They are caring and want the kids to succeed. Many of the staff have been there for over 20 years. Although it's a large school, they make an effort to get to know the kids and treat them as individuals. There are lots of opportunities for academic challenges. Not many after school activities due to district budget cuts though.

I go to westridge and I believe it is not a bad school. Some of the teachers are amazing but some are bad as well. There are a lot of great kid who go to Westridge. Also, the principals aren't bad. Overall I have enjoyed my two years at this school.

They take horrible care of the bathrooms and locker rooms. They always smell, and they always has bugs. It's nasty and I wish that they would take better care of it. Also the teachers only want to teach those who always answer questions. If you're hand isn't in the air, you're pretty much ignored. I've only run into two teachers that picked on people who didn't have their hands up.

I guess this school is okay, but I dont feel like the staff is as excited about teaching us as they should be. The bathrooms are always nasty smelling.

i think its wonderful if the school has parents involving in the school enviroment everyday because its giving you more help with the school.
