Has "times" gotten so political that children are not taught and expected to use correct language (at least at school) the two most used words. NO and YES. I find that Yeah, yep or sometimes a nod of the head is accepted, or in the case of NO, a shake of the head or a nope, naah is acceptable. I realize that it might take a bit of getting used to especially the older children, but very much worth the effort in correcting a child that does not answer with a correct YES or NO. Most children do not stay in the area of Stockton, off to college or getting a job in the BIG city.. What a excellent promo for the Stockton School System, then a mannerly and properly spoken YES OR NO. Would you hire a person that answers questions with a naah or a yeah...
