As a former student who will soon graduate from a 4-year university, I can give high marks to Sublette High School's performance in preparing me for the world outside of my community. The school's size lent itself to a high teacher-to-student ratio that allowed me to achieve academically as well as presented plentiful opportunities to participate outside of the classroom in sports, art, music, and volunteer work. My teachers, coaches and club sponsors knew me, personally, and cared about my successes as an individual. They even helped me find scholarship aid to finance my degree. As parents, volunteers, and friends, faculty and staff at SHS are active members of the community and create a synergy surrounding the school that makes it a fun and exciting place to learn and grow, not just for the students, but for their families and the community.
