My son started second grade at Abilene after 'home schooling' in kindergarten and first grade. He struggled with the curriculum change at first. Now, he is doing very well and has adjusted. I am particularly pleased with his principal, Mark Hoy. I would rank the school as average(2 1/2 stars).
