Gordon Parks Academy

My oldest son started back in 08 when the school first opened. Since then my other son has joined him. I have gotten a chance to interact with Kindergaren, 1st and 2nd grade teachers and have been both pleased and impressed. The Teachers are wonderful and strive to make sure you are aware of your childrens progress. We have moved to Washington and I am said that my youngest son won't be able to experience the education that my 2 oldest have received. A wonderful school, your kids will love it.

Smaller size classrooms allow for more one-on-one with the students and teachers. Students have a better opportunity to participate in extra-cirricular activities than they might at a larger school. Staff and administrators can get to know the students better as it is a K-8 school as opposed to elementary/middle schools.

My daughter started at GPA two years ago in Kindergarten. She loves the school and teachers. I couldn't agree more. She has learned so much throughout the IB units and the IB learner profile traits. We love GPA!
