ello. moving to the Wichita area in May and have a 16 yr old with aspergers. Any ideas about the best high school in Wichita or the surrounding area for him? He has been in a mainstream school and although he struggles, he is very high functioning. We are moving from Ireland so it will all be new to him. However, because of work, the move must be made

Hello there! You might want to check out the Maize school district. They have a great Special needs program there at the high school. I work at a transitional school in Maize that has many different options. Many of our students are Autistic or Aspergers. Chisholm is also a great school. Reading the parent reviews and the rankings may help you narrow down which schools to consider. Also if there is an HR department at your new employer ask if there are any employees with kids in HS you can speak with.
