My son was a above average student before he came to this school. Now he is falling so far behind, the teacher are just not interested in teaching the kids, and the office staff are the rudest people I have ever meet,if you sent your child to Allen elm. You will not know what is going on they never send notes home letting parents anything......Hate hate hate this school

This is an excellent school! My daughter will be in the 7th grade this year at Allen and she has a 3.97 GPA. All of the teachers are nice and fair. They even have a class for children who have a disability.

I feel that some kids are treated better than others. this happens in most of the schools i have be in contact with. The sports teams are treated u nfair and kicked off even before all the grades are in. If you send your kids to this school plan on speaking your peace the very second you feel like you need to. If you don't up for your kids and show the staff there that you don't put up with being pushed around they will continue to do so.

About the tests

In 2010-2011 Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in reading, social studies, science, writing, and math. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined. The KCCT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Kentucky.
