Over the recent years, the atmosphere there has changed dramatically. I have 2 children who are currently enrolled and have went there since preschool. Academically, this is a great school and most of the teachers are excellent. Everything else has much room for improvement. It is true that every staff member probably knows every child by name, its a small school and most of the kids started from the beginning at robinson. I feel like the kids there have no rights as individuals.

Robinson is a great school. My children feel at home there! I am confident that the staff love my children and care for them as if they were their own. The focus at Robinson seems to be academics. Homework centers around the three R's. A variety of extracurricular activities are available to the students. As a parent, I feel comfortable visiting school and talking with my childrens' teachers. The teachers are great, along with the rest of the staff! When I walk my childen through this school, every adult knows them by name! Secretaries, custodians, cooks, teachers. and even the principal. Robinson is a truely caring and wonderful school.

The school is good but needs better leadership by the principal. if they had a better principal that was more into academic programs then into sports, they would have a # 1 school.

About the tests

In 2010-2011 Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in reading, social studies, science, writing, and math. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined. The KCCT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Kentucky.
