I am Currently a student at this school. and i enjoy every second of it. with the school laid out like a collage campus it makes us feel like were not little kids anymore, being watched 24/7. we feel trusted. although every school has the Bad eggs but its ok they normally are in AER anyway. the school has Great Classes and always normally has great Sports teams. i will most likey send my kids here in the future.
Good academics and athletics. School is not well supervised. There are many fights, bullying, a general lack of supervision. It's a campus setting and the kids wander around with little supervision. Lots of kids making out and on cell phones constantly. It's every student for himself at this school.
I formerly attended Paul Blazer I feel it is the best school! I attended Blazer all four years and feel that although there were bomb threats when I was there also, you can always bet they are close to when we have a game with a big rival or something...(Boyd County) Anyway, the teachers are awesome and it is more like a college than a high school. I would definetly send my children there.
Good school. I heard it is acedemicly best in the state. It's not crowded, has 7 buildings which gives it a campus feel. Age has brought down the appearance, but appearance doesn't matter. I'm a student attending Blazer now after I moved from Anoka, MN. compare KY to MN: Principal leadership is okay. I don't see them as involved with the students, with the exeption of disciplining kids in the hallways. Most of my teachers are more laid back. Exrtacurricularrily decent because they have all the neccesary sports, but I would like to see some more clubs. The safety/discipline's bad. There've been 2 bomb threats, graffiti, 2-3 fights at lunch, one ran around on a roof, one jumped out of a window.... Since there's no cameras, kids (me too) feel they can do whatever they want. Do not let this scare you: these don't happen often. It's a decent school overall.
