The students run this school. The administration is just interested in appeasing students and parents. They do not like teachers who 'make waves'. They set down rules, but do not expect the students to abide by them. The teachers are walked all over by the students and are made to look bad if they try to follow the rules set down by the wishy-washy administration.

i think bellevue is a great little school...my grandson is a pupil there and he loves the school, the teachers and his coach...for a small school in a small town they are doing a great job..thank you bellevue for making my grandsons education a good experience

Bellevue High School really cares about there students! The teachers and staff go above and beyond their expectations in helping the students achieve their goals.

About the tests

In 2010-2011 Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in reading, social studies, science, writing, and math. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined. The KCCT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Kentucky.
