I graduated from Red Bird Mission six years ago. During my time at this private school I was very envolved in extracurricular activities. I cared a lot about my classmates and teachers. Many times my parents heard me say they all felt like family. I believe that is what makes Red Bird Mission so extraordinary. Not only does the teachers teach the students, but they also care about them. They make sure the students gain the knowledge that will help them become successful in life. I would like to mention one particular teacher whom made a difference in my life. John D. Wilson, a teacher and a father figure that taught me what respect an dicipline was. I have completed college with two degrees. I plan to be a teacher and hopefully I can make a difference in young adults lives as those at Red Bird Mission did for me.
