Our school is a fun providing place for kids of all ages grades pre-k - 5. All teachers and students are a great example for our school and district. T C Cherry is also known as a blue ribbon school.

My son attended Kindergarten here. The teachers this year have been fabulous. Everyone there is very caring and they want the children to succeed. Everyone told me that this wasn't a good school, but I couldn't disagree more. They have helped my son grow academically as well as in maturity in one short year. Thank you TC Cherry.

We have the best kids, parents, and staff in the whole world. We love our new building and are learning to be responsible citizens as we work to be a green school.

T.C. Cherry is an excellent School, my children have been going there for 7 years now! The principal is great, the teachers are great and the entire staff down to the cafe. workers! I have not had one problem with anything or anybody! My daughter is now in Jr. High and in my opinion she is very intellegent thanks to T.C. Cherry! I have one in Kindergarten now and she loves every minute of it. Thanks to all the staff and teachers for all you have done and all your doing!

About the tests


Until 2010-2011, Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in reading, social studies, science, writing, and math. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined. The KCCT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Kentucky. Beginning in 2011-2012, Kentucky switched to the K-PREP and EOC exams.
