This is our 7th year with children at Buckner, & we could not be more pleased! The entire staff works to create a fun, stimulating learning environment. Blended grades (K-1, 2-3) give higher achieving students a chance to mentor and develop leadership skills. The test scores speak for themselves!

This school ranks low in my opinion. The combined classroom (k-1 in one class, 2-3 in one class) damages a child's ability to learn.

BESC was built in 1997 to alleviate overcrowding in one of the fastest growing districts in the state. It was near capacity when it opened in the fall of 1998. By the third school year growth in enrollment had forced the conversion of what had been a dedicated science classroom into a general use classroom. To date this space not been reclaimed for its intended purpose, in fact our enrollment continues to grow at an alarming rate and could claim our art and or our music room before any new schools can be completed. Fortunately that is the full extent of our negatives and they are outside of our control. Allotted space prevents me from expounding on all the positives at BESC. However, I think the statistics enumerated on this site clearly demonstrate that the parents, teachers and staff at BESC work hard to provide the highest quality education possible.
