I went to Cloverport Independent Schools since I was in grade K. Over the years it has changed a lot and I know most of the kids don't like it very well. I transfered to Breckinridge County High School where I have more options on things and I have got to say it was my best decision. I would not send my kids to Cloverport Schools. Teachers are nice there but I've learned a lot more at BCHS. There lies a lot more oportunities. I do not recommend FFHS.

Cloverport schools are the best! I really like the teachers because they are friendly and helpful. Anyone looking for a new school should consider this one!!

Frederick Fraize is an awesome school. Coming from another school district, I really didn't know what to expect. What I found, though, was faculty and staff who had students best interests at heart. Cloverport schools are going through a lot of changes right now and some people find it hard to be positive. I can definitely see what lies ahead for cloverport schools and it is for sure a very bright future! We all just have to stay positive for our kids and our school!

I highly recommend that anyone considering sending a child to Frederick Fraize High School send their child anywhere but FFHS. Opportunities for the students to actually learn something and become more capable of going out into the real world and being successful have been slashed to make sure that the test scores go up.

Frederick Fraize is a great school. Each teacher has more time for students. Compared to Breck. County High School, students have more one on one help from teachers. Students coming from Breck. County to Frederick Fraize raise their grades very easily. The school is no eaiser than any school in the state. However, it is a small treasure that has been hidden by bigger public schools like Breck. I recommend this school parents.

About the tests


Until 2010-2011, Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in reading, social studies, science, writing, and math. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined. The KCCT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Kentucky. Beginning in 2011-2012, Kentucky switched to the K-PREP and EOC exams.

EOCs are tests given to public high school students when they complete a course to assess their knowledge of important course concepts. They are similar to a final exam, except that they are created and scored by an outside testing company, ensuring that the tests are both rigorous and aligned with state and national college readiness standards.
