I am a Currently a Student here 2011-2012 and i am a Junior i have been at this school for 3 years and I love waking up in the Morning just to come to School. The Classes are excellent and the Teacher's educate us very well. We have an Amazing FFA Chapter and i have been enrolled in FFA all 3 years, I have competed on may teams and learned a lot of things for my career choice in life and i think that our chapter is very outgoing and fun. Our School has other clubs and activities that are very interesting like Pep and Sadd. We have a insiring football team and our coaches are very nice to all the boys and they enjoy being on the team..and that is my review

I am a current student at ACHS. Personally I love this school. We have a lot of diverse clubs. The principal is very down-to-earth and an all around great person. The students could go to him for anything. Most of the teachers are great people. My favorite classes would have to be theatre class and art. The only thing I don't like about the school is that the food is gross and some kids aren't accepting of different sexualities besides heterosexual. The pep rallies are rather funny and coming from a goth, it's got to be good. We don't get too much homework but on occasion we do.

About the tests

In 2010-2011 Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in reading, social studies, science, writing, and math. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined. The KCCT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Kentucky.
