We have had an excellent experience at St. Camillus Academy. I have two boys, ages 4, and 7 and they both love going to school. The montessori programs have been excellent for both of them. The teachers are all outstanding. I can't say enough great things about this school.

Our second child is finishing MK (Kindergarten) and will start in 1st grade next year at St. C. Our first child attended and our next two children will also attend. I could not say enough about how wonderful the teachers, academics and every aspect of St. C. is. They greatly encourage parents to get involved. My 6 yr old son comes home talking about computer class, Spanish, art - where they just got to make & kiln their own pottery - music, library; so much extracurricular activities, in addition, to an excellent base of reading, math, etc. My son can tell me more about outdoor and nature due to their involvement in creating & preserving a wetlands on school property. They have a nature hike & my son knows about different animal footprints, their meals, etc. He loves all his teachers & says everyday is a good day! He loves school!

My daughter attends the Montessori program at St. Camillus Academy. The quality of their academic curriculum is excellent. My daughter excels in reading (She can read advanced chapter books.), math (She is competent in four digit addition and subtraction, as well as the Montessori system which integrates aspects of basic geometry, exponential value, place value, & fractions.), science (Her class conducts advanced experiments on a regular basis.), spelling, as well as other subject areas. She also receives music, art, and Spanish language instruction on a regular basis and excels in those areas as well. The staff is courteous, efficient, and talented. They encourage the highest level possible of parental involvement. Most parents seem quite involved in all aspects of their child/children's education. Important dates and birthdays are integrated into daily studies. Usually, there are at least 2 major extracurricular events taking place in any given month.

The classes are small and the teachers committed to their profession. Each child is encouraged and challenged to be their best academically and socially. They are taught respect and kindness by example. I have had excellent relationships with each teacher my child has had. He was hesitant and teary eyed the first day of kindergarten, after two weeks he has jumped out of the car and ran into school each morning. Each day, when asked about his day, His comment is always 'good'!. Each teacher has become the favorite. From the beginning the children have music, physical education, art and computer and Spanish classes. Many participate in soccer, basketball, track, science fairs, academic meets, boy scouts, girl scouts, and many other academic, sport and social activities. I would recommend this school to any parent.

My children have had a wonderful experience at St. Camillus Academy. The Montessori preschool was the perfect setting for them to develop skills necessary in the traditional grades 1-8. Each teacher that my children have had has been dedicated, caring, and emphasized a high standard of academic achievement and moral character.
