My child is entering his second year in this school's Montessori program. He has made great strides in his learning and his teachers show a genuine interest in his growth and development. Parents and teachers work together and parental involvement is greatly encouraged.

Prince of Peace offers two schools in one. I believe the Montessori students have a demeaning attitude toward the students in the traditional based classrooms. My child is in the traditional classroom and feels this attitude. I wish the teachers and administration would address this issue. It affects everyone who goes there and volunteers there.

I have 2 children who attend Prince of Peace Montessori. It has truly been an answer to our prayers. The dedication of our teachers (Ms.Opfer and Mr. Lawson) to each students individual needs and talents has really been a gift. The school, which includes a Montessori and a traditional Catholic school is very special. It provideds an array of diversity, which breeds acceptance. The school at large is run by Notre Dame nuns, who provide discipline and structure for the school, which fosters a great learning environment. The Montessori has a great deal of parental involvement. Parents are not just tolerated, but welcomed and needed to enhance the efforts of the teachers. If you are even considering Montessori for your children I strongly encourage you to check out P.O.P. I have friends with children in the traditional program and they are very happy, too.

This is a wonderful school. This school has grades K-8 in a traditional Catholic educational program. There is school within a school - there are two Montessori classrooms with Grades 1 through 6. This is wonderful school, that is run by the Notre Dame sisters. We love the school. There is combination of traditional Catholic discipline with a child centered focus. Each child gets a lot of attention and individual needs are tended to. Parents are very involved in the school. It is a small school of approximately 120 students, although numbers are growing.
