under no reason should an employee harass a student there are two type classifications for floyd county school board employees certified and classified certified being teachers principal etc..classified being cooks bus drivers custodians I worked for the school board I know the RULES! no bus driver has the right to jump a student over not showing up for school when his father is on life support and their turning it off the next day, and to do it in front of a bus load of kids plus a fatally sick child "my daughter" whom can not attend school over her illness is immoral unethicalk and down right awful Mr Martin who drives bus number 409 did this today and I DEMAND ACTION TAKEN AGAINST HIM even if he is a teacher subbing as a bus driver when hes on that bus hes classified this will not end HERE I PROMISE YOU THAT!

My son attended Duff Elementary and received a wonderful education. I was amazed by the high levels of learning that was going on at the school. The school has high expectations for all children. There is genuine care and concern for the students various needs. A GREAT SCHOOL.

This school is wonderful. There are high expectations for all students. The school has always scored 100 percent on the no child left behind act. Also, Duff school has already achieved 100 percent proficiency which the state expects all schools to achieve by 2014. My child received a great education and felt loved by all of his teachers and principals.

Duff Elementary is a great school and has been great for my child, since she has ADD although I think as a hole the Floyd County Schools system has great room for improvement. I think they should reward the children that keeps their grades at a certain level for the year by taking them to a major park or Pizza Hut things in that order. I have family that goes out of state and that the way they do it and they have great success in this program. But in all fairness Duff believes in putting the children's education first and that their needs are met.

I think this school is fantastic! It is so clear that this is the best school I have ever seen. If I got to choose what school got the #1 best school award I would choose James A. Duff Elementary.
