I attended school there when I was younger and it is a great enviorment for your children! My child loves all the teachers and staff and so do we! Great communication with parents and a safe enviornment are only a few of the reason that we will not attend school anywhere else!
I love Lyon County Schools. I have two children attending there.
The quality of academics are ok. Most of the teachers are qualified but major bully problems and lack of respect and concern on all levels. My daughter went there for 2 years and was assaulted by a little boy on several occasions with nothing much being done. The school did send HER to a counciler outside of the school system only to find she had depression and anxiety due to the bullying at school. Still nothing was done...Did I mention this was in 1st and 2nd grade! We now homeschool. That is the geatest school for your child...home! I was also a student there 10 years ago...not much has changed. But it looks nice on the outside.
I love lyon county schools. They offer high quality education with qualified teachers.
