As shown by another review, this school does not offer a basic foundation in English, the possession being confused with plural. Beyond that the school has struggled to be academically competitive with surrounding public school districts and fails to offer a level playing field to all sports. Also I would note that taxpayers are disenfranchised by the school district and ignored by this site.

This is a very great school. My sister and I have always attended this school, and it's a very safe place. We attend the high school, and we love it. We are given a very high education, and I would recomend Metcalfe County School's to any one

About the tests

In 2010-2011 Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in reading, social studies, science, writing, and math. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined. The KCCT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Kentucky.
