As a 2000 graduate of Frankfort High School, I can honestly say that FHS is a phenomenal academic institution where students are challenged in every aspect of academia. The teachers who work within the school system are very dedicated to what they do and always have the student's best interest in mind. Set in historical downtown Frankfort, FHS offers a quiet atmosphere that is highly conducive to learning. Classes are small, teachers are always available for extra-tutorials, and the technology is state of the art. Frankfort High School offers quality athletics, art, music, drama, and academics for every student. Parents can easily find ways to get involved in the school as well as in their child's education. Whether it be serving on the Site-based Decision Making, PTA, or in the concession stand at sporting events, there are numerous ways for parents to contribute to the institution.

About the tests

In 2010-2011 Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in reading, social studies, science, writing, and math. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject.
