We moved to Menifee County and I had one daughter in highschool and one in Elementary. They weren't happy about moving, but once school started both girls loved it! They sports programs were great, teachers were wonderful. Unfortunately a year later we had to move again, but my girls will always treasure Menifee County schools!!

My child enrolled this year as a kindergartener. He absolutely loves school and looks forward to going everyday. I think they are doing a wonderful job!

When my husband and I were choosing our home location, it was a matter of priority. My husband works in Lexington (over one hour commute one way), but it was more important to us that our child be enrolled in a small, quality educational environment. We both attended Menifee County schools, and now we are pleased to have our son there. The teachers are wonderful and completely dedicated to the kids. I don't believe that he could receive a better education than he is receiving at MCES.

I think Menifee County Elementary School is a great school.I feel that my children are safe at school and they have many great opportunities. They teach the children well and if the children need help they will help them individually. I am proud to have my children attend MCES. Thank You

Until 2010-2011, Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in reading, social studies, science, writing, and math. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined. The KCCT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Kentucky. Beginning in 2011-2012, Kentucky switched to the K-PREP and EOC exams.
