This is my second year teaching at Providence and I love it! We all share the same goals to teach according to the Biblical standard, God's Word, and the Kentucky standards. We have all worked hard this summer to reach our goal of accreditation to serve our parents and students with the best education they can get, while training them in the ways of Jesus.

I have been involved with PCA since it's inception. I volunteered with the school before it even opened its doors. My son is currently in 4th grade and has been at PCA from the time he was 4. It is a wonderful school! I have never met a more caring and concerned administrator. The board has very competent and caring members. There is not enough room here for the praises I have for the faculty and staff. This past January we enrolled our 2nd son in the 3 yr old preschool. He loves it and contrary to what other reviewers have said it is structured and not just a daycare. I do encourage a potential student's family to talk with parents who have withdrawn their students from PCA. But I also encourage them to visit the school and speak with parents who have their children there currently.

As a grandparent of a student that is in his third year at providence, I am so very thankful that this school is an option to the public school system. As an active volunteer, I have had the opportunity to observe students and teachers throughout the day and even in the summer leap and grow program. What I have seen is wonderful. Caring concern, christian instruction and orderly students obviously enjoying school. While there are always 'growing pains' for a new private school...Providence is such a blessing for our children in georgetown.

I have witnessed this school in the community and am very impressed with the bibical viewpoint they present. Their teachers, staff stand for the Christian values we need in this world, and the parents/students that I have seen in local Spirit nights at restaurants have behaved as a witness for the Lord. This school is needed in this community as an alternative to the public schools.

I disagree with the person who gave the rating on April 9, whom I believe probably posted twice. In my experience, although PCA has gone through a transitional state, the head master couldn't do a better job of operating in the best interest of the kids. They offer clubs that are unlike other schools, fencing for example. The only negative that I would have to say is the construction is just finishing up this summer. But on the other hand, the tuition prices have been lower and to me offset that negative. I know teachers put a lot into their daily lesson plans and are concerned about each and every child they are in contact with...that's obvious - to me anyway.

I have been an actively invovled parent at this school for 5 years. My children have been greatly blessed by an administration, teachers, etc. who care deeply about their academics along with their spiritual growth. I would recommend to anyone, just email me.

Please take the time to research this school. I did not and suffered the consequences. Make sure that you speak with parents who have removed their child from this school. The administrator is lacking in many areas.

Before enrolling your child in this school please do your research and speak with parents that have removed their children from this school. What the school tells you and how they really operate are two completely different stories. The head administrator does a poor job in all aspects. Beware of this school.
