This is our second year at Liberty and are pleased so far. The guidance counselor is wonderful and really goes above and beyond to make sure the kids are taken care of. She is very concerned with the well being of the children.

I'm not a fan of public schools but this one is awesome! The teachers are great and parent involvement is encouraged. The PTA is very active here.

The teachers here are challenging and nurturing. The principal, MS. Hayes is an outstanding professional woman who knows how to effectively manage her teachers and students who seem to adore her. A++ school.

Liberty Elementary is a wonderful place for my children. The principal, Connie Hays, works diligently, along with the rest of the faculty and staff, to make it the best school in the state of Kentucky. It is an awesome place!!!!

About the tests

In 2010-2011 Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in reading, social studies, science, writing, and math. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined. The KCCT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Kentucky.
