This school was a wonderful experience for me. It has many many Devoted teachers and a wonderful education program. In the years that I attended BCHS I would have to say they were my best years. I was Proud to be a Tiger and I still am.

This school has a great education program. The teachers do really well with the students and the students really learn a lot. The academic level of this school compared to many other schools is very good. Although there is a slight dress code, it is really not much of a bother to many students. There are a lot of programs such as the FFA, The beta club, band, Pep club, FCA, and others as well. Although they do not have wrestling team, there is basketball, softball, cross country, band, color guard, football, and golf as well. This school really did change the academic level of my daughter and my son as well.

Kind of sad..If your child is not into the band or FFA, they don't offer anything else. NO ROTC, no wrestling. Just geared for Future Farmers.

About the tests

In 2010-2011 Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in reading, social studies, science, writing, and math. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined. The KCCT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Kentucky.
