Lesadership wtihin the school, inlcuding some Church Leadership, is more concerned with style over substance. The Schools position on pressing matters has little to do with what is best for the student and more to do with what is in the inerest of the school. The one bright spot is the assistant principal who listens and provides feedback. The Principal is disconnected, stoic at best and is most interested in dealing with difficlut situations by hoping things /people will just go away.

I went to Christ the King from Kindergarten through 8th grade and had a wonderful experience. The teachers are wonderful and truly care about their students.

Christ the King is a fabulous school with wonderful teachers and a great reputation. Students enter high school fully prepared and committed to their academics thanks to what they learned at Christ the King.

I had two children go to CKS and they both had a great educational learning experience. It is a great Catholic school that emphasizes spirituality.

I was a former student at Christ the King and have two children there now. I am very pleased with the school and the school leadership. I think the math program in the upper grades is good but has room for improvement. I also feel that the principal, Rita King, has done a wonderful job and that the school is lucky to have her! I believe that my children are well ahead of children their age in the public school system. Truly, if you look at the entire package as a whole, I do not think you could find a better elementary school in the state of Kentucky!

Our middle school is in crisis and the crisis is occasioned by it's leadership.Discipline is a mess, evidenced by favoritism especially with regard to serious infractions and expulsions. The math program is unacceptable. Our 8th graders are graduating unprepared for high school in math. Parents are faced with the question each year, Catholic education vs. quality education. We are told to pray on it, that our school is not for everyone, or they are doing the best they can do. Great facility, some awesome teachers, unrealized potential.Leadership change is needed.

I went to school at Christ the King for 9 years (from Kindergarten through 8th grade. I graduated in 1997 and I will forever be grateful for having attended school there. I am a junior in college now and I don't know how I ever would have made it without all the wonderful teachers and friends I had there. I will definitely be sending my children to Catholic schools because I know the benefits of the education I received.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
