The Lexington School was founded in 1959 for talented children grades preschool-8th grade. Today we have almost 600 talented students. The campus is 40 acres, the only in the region with a full ecosystem ready for active learning. This includes 5 athletic fields, a running creek, native woods, chickens, honey bees, maker's spaces, and a garden. The Lexington School is academically challenging (We Teach Courage!) while teaching non-cognitive skills like curiosity and resilience.
