Southern Middle School

For special ed students I feel they are more interested in what looks good then doing what best for the child. I agree they are all wonderful during the meetings but never put it in action. I have already got issues this year and school hasnt even started! I would not send my child here if I would have known.

my child has gone to this school for 3 years and we have had nothing but trouble. My son has been a very good child but he has not been inspired to learn. I have been called to come to school because he had a hole in his pants but never because he didnt turn in his homework. I have been called at home because my child and another child collided outside but never because he was failing a class. I have asked countless times for acedemic help and motovation. Everybody is great at the meetings then when class is in session it doesnt happen. Not impressed !

This is an awesome school! They have a great girls basketball coach and the girls basketball team is amazing! :)

This is a great school. Both of my daughters have attened. When we moved into Lexington, we told our realtor to show us property in the Southern School district. Only negative...too much homework to get involved in any extracurricular activities. Have found this to be true in all 3 grade levels.
