This is our 4th year at Cornerstone, and we have been truly blessed! Our daughter come out of K4 reading and quickly excelled in K5 and first grade. This year, we are so excited to see her achieve even higher. The principal is spiritually grounded and is such a great administrator. Not only is academics priority, but teaching the love of Christ in all aspects of school. The teachers are there because they love God and are called to teach. You will not be let down.

Our son has attended Cornerstone since Kindergarten and is now in third grade. We think Cornerstone is the best! The teachers and staff are top notch. If you are looking for a school for your child, you've found it.

The is THE place for your child to go to school in this area. The Preschool is wonderful. The teachers are all so good to the students. My child is in the 7th grade and has attended both this school and a public school and this school BY FAR exceeds the public school. It is more 'one-on-one', the teachers actually love their jobs and the students LOVE coming to this school.

My child has attended Cornerstone since Kindergarten. She will be starting fifth grade in the fall. I am very impressed with the curriculum and the spiritual atmosphere that she is involved in. Our school has gone through a transition period and we are more committed than ever to building up the middle school and academic expectations. If you are looking for a strong curriculum base and a great learning atmosphere, Cornerstone is the place for your child. We have fantastic art and band teachers and some special programs. We have basketball and cheerleading and are trying to get a volleyball team together. Come join in the best school in Laurel County!

Cornerstone offers a top notch education and great environment for students to learn. Our kindergarten class tested in the top 9% and our elementary students tested in the top 27% in the nation. Cornerstone has a new principal that is top notch. He is academically qualified, but more importantly he is spiritually strong and has great leadership abilities to take this school to the next level. This school has great families that sacrifice time and money to make sure that their children are in the best environment and provides them a Christian education. Anyone who walks through the doors of this school will be able to feel the warmth that this Christian school provides. If you are interested in a great school with a Christian environment that offers a top notch education. Please stop by the school and see for yourself. I have been with the school for 5 years.

As a parent of Cornerstone, I don't see how anyone could give our school such negative ratings as I have read in the ratings listed. What a wonderful Christian atomsphere, very well qualified teachers, a principal who is awesome, sports, art, cub scouts and all kinds of activities to offer the children. Our son has went to Cornerstone for the past 2 years and he loves it to say the least. We his parents feel very blessed to be able to send him to a school that honors God in every aspect. To have prayer in school and bible study is very important in the lives of our children. I thank God that we can send our child to this school and would invite any parents who are looking for a school to come and check out Cornerstone, you will be glad you did!!

Cornerstone is going through a time of transition; the school is attempting to create a more professional and polished learning atmosphere. Many of these changes have challenged parents who wanted things 'their way.' Some of the parent's reviews posted here reflect that attitude! Personally, I support the direction Cornerstone has chosen to pursue: school uniforms, a new principal, a new school building in the works, etc. Academically, you will not find a better school! Do you really want to sacrifice your child on the altar of the Kentucky Public School System? If you enroll your child at Cornerstone, you will not be disappointed. Check-out the Cornerstone student test scores, they are very impressive! Spiritually, students are solidly grounded in Christ. Questions: For less than a new car payment each month, I can send my child to the best academic school in the area? Answer: Correct! Cornerstone!

My Grandson attends Cornerstone and indicated that God is calling him to be a Pastor. He is only six years old. I am so thankful we have a christian school where he can be taught about the love of God and also receive a top-notch education. I'm excited about what God is going to do in his life. He would never receive the spiritual support in a public school that he is receiving at Cornerstone.
