Sacred Heart gave me the best 4 years of my high school life. I truly feel that I could not received a better experience anywhere else. I was involved in the IB program that did require dedication and time management, but they are skills that everyone should acquire. I was also involved with the athletics at Sacred Heart along with my year around team. I feel that for the most part all the staff are great educators and the administrative staff are exceptional. Since I took part in the IB program, along with normal classes, athletics, and clubs I can tell you that all are gratified. All the staff at Sacred Heart are proud of everybody's achievements no matter where that lies. I am proud to be part of the Sacred Heart Community forever and have built skills that will last a lifetime.

As a graduate from Sacred Heart (and the IB program) myself, I completely understand that there is not a better school. SHA offers an extensive array of IB programs, along with quite a few AP programs. Despite the complaining from your daughter, the IB program is not that tough (it is challenging, but very do-able). I cannot recommend SHA enough!

Sacred Heart Academy is a very well rounded environment for aspiring teenage girls! Sacred Heart offers so many different ways to be involved, whether it be in academics, sports, clubs, or volunteer work. Teachers are always available to the students during or after school hours. Sacred Heart not only prepares the girls for college, but life!

Academic programs at Sacred Heart are very good to excellent although the girls are not adequately celebrated for their hard work, unless they are athletes. The administration is involved but much more interested in the school's reputation than the girls' best interests. There are many extracurricular activities but, of the ones we've experienced, only the athletic programs are well run. The IB program is among the world's best 'pass' rate but I would only recommend it for an outstanding self-starter with strong support at home. The student will not get a lot of kudos from the administration for all her hard work leading up to and during the last two years of actual IB.

Sacred Heart Academy is a wonderful school, the principal cares very much about the students. They offer the time-consuming IB program, but lack AP courses. The faculty is involved in pretty much all of the student clubs and activites, and always offer their time to aid any student. Overall it's a wonderful environment.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
