This is a wonderful school. My children ended up here after JCPS failed them miserably. These teachers don't have the constraints of the public school system and so they're not tainted to the point of losing their compassion and passion for the importance of what they do. My kids feel cared about at this school and they actually look forward to going, which is something that was never the case at JCPS.

I would highly recommend St. Athanasius School to any parent that wishes their child(ren) to obtain a good education. The principal and most teachers are very patient and understanding. My child attended this school from Kindergarten through 8th grade and is ahead compared to his peers that attend public schools. I feel like there is a good level of discipline in the school, and students are taught to respect their teachers and fellow classmates as well. The principal, Diane Arrow, is very high regarded among parents and teachers alike.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
