We are the parents of four boys and our oldest two sons have attended St. Rita for 2 years now. When our oldest son was at JCPS for Pre-K his teachers advised that he would not be able to handle the structure of a private school setting for K-8 with his sensory insues and possible ADHD. His doctors have since confirmed that he does have ADHD. Sending our oldest two sons to St. Rita's was the best thing that we could have done. There are smaller class sizes and more one on one time with teachers for the students. Dr. Lanning and her staff really take the time to make the children feel welcomed and excited to learn. Our third son starts Pre-K this year and he is so ready to join his older brothers up at St. Rita's.

As the grandparent of two students, I cannot praise this school enough. The staff is wonderful. The students receive excellent educational instruction from pre K through 8th grade. While it is a small school, I feel this benefits the students as they receive more individualized attention in smaller class settings. The entire staff places the utmost attention on each and every student. I highly recommend St. Rita Elementary

My son attended St. Rita for one year and I was highly disappointed in the reading program and how the leadership of the principal was.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
