Sanders is under new peadership with a principal who truly cares about children. They have an excellent sports program run solely off of volunteer teachers and staff members. I am very happy here! I pulled my child from private school to go to Sanders!

We have a wonderful principal who has been here for 1 1/2 years. She has made many great changes. Come see the Tiger Pride we have now.

sanders could be a great school if they would hire a new principal. The one they have is in it for the power and doesn't seem to have a clue on how to handle people. Especially children

This is a pretty decent school. Some of the testing is a little low, but I have seen much improvement in my children.

About the tests

In 2010-2011 Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in reading, social studies, science, writing, and math. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined. The KCCT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Kentucky.
