I went to this school K-5th Grade and I must say, it is the best school I have EVER went to! They award the students when they do well, they take the students out to lunch, on fieldtrips, etc... to make them happy while giving a great learning experience.

My little girl is starting Kindergarten this year and I have a step-daughter in 5th grade. From past experience we have not had any trouble, but I wish they would give more notice on what is going on activity wise in the school. I like the report card system and explanation of everything clear and concise. I feel this is a very safe school for my child. It is located in the country and has a small teacher student ratio with many of the teachers holding a masters degree. Our kindergarten classes do not have to purchase any school supplies which is great! I can't believe the school supplies everything! Playgrounds are really nice with swings, picnic area, basketball court and play area for preschool. Classes for disabled and gifted children, computer lab is state of the art and school library is really nice. I recommend this school.

About the tests

In 2010-2011 Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in reading, social studies, science, writing, and math. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined. The KCCT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Kentucky.
