Challenging curriculum, talented teachers and an extremely hard working administrative staff. There is excellence in athletics and academics. A lot of great things are happening at Bell County High School that people never know about. They need to learn to 'toot their own horn.' I guess they're so busy working hard, they don't take time to. I'm a very proud graduate of BCHS and will surely send my son there when the time comes.
I am a Senior this year at Bell High. All three years have been pleasent. The only thing lacking is the teachers leaning more towards the athletic than the students who do not play sports. I myself play basketball and I notice than I get special treatment from certian teachers compared to my friends. Of course I feel bad but honestly I dont want to make things harder on myself. But I am just saying that the teachers need to be fair to all students and treat them equally. Thank you. A Conserned Student
I am a currently enrolled senior, and I have been a student at Bell High all four years of my high school career. Personally, I could never imagine going to a different high school. The teachers here are awesome, and are willing to work with you to achieve your goals and to make sure you do things to the best of your ability. To the teachers, teaching us is not just a job -- it's something they truly enjoy doing and it shows. We have several extracurricular activities and programs that anyone is invited to participate in and there's no discrimination. We have a strong student government (of which I am the president!) that is getting out there and making changes and striving to make high school a good experience, not just one that has to be done. I would recommend this school to anyone, there's no other like it.
Well Iam not a parent but a once student and now a 2003 graduate from bell county high, I realyy enjoyed going to school there the most teachers there makeing learning fun, and make u want to go to school. The teachers come down to ur learning ability and working with u instead of just rushing to get done so that they may go home. Bell county has improved over the years with learning and discipline. Iam so gald that I got to attened Bell county high school.
One of the better schools in the area in terms of educators and monetary abilities. Its extracurricular acitivites are top notch. However the discpline and Administrational abilities are lacking.
Bell County High School is a wonderful learning environment for my children as well as any other's. Two of my childern attend this school now and my youngest will enroll next year. When sending my childern off to school, I feel confident in their safety and also that their curriculum will challenge their minds and strive to make them better. I personally could not imagine my childern attending any other high school. Their sports programs, lessons, and atmosphere is seccond to none!
