This is the best school a parent or a student could get. Ms. Wolfe and all the teachers are wonderful. It's better than any other school in Pike County, including all the larger schools in the area. Unlike some other schools in the area, Runyon helps the students learn academics, while teaching them life skills, unlike a few other local schools. Runyon is the best!!!!
I love this school. All the teachers my son had were wonderful. It was so reassuring knowing I could drop him off at school and know he was safe. The principle, Rosa Wolfe, is very strict but fair. I could not give this school enough praise for their desire to teach and guide our students.
I think that it is a good school, all but for how they treat some of the kids. They have there favorites and they would go to the moon for them , they push the other kids to the side and could care less about them. When you start pulling favorites for one or two of the kids then I think something should be done. I don't think it is right at all. So just for that I can't wait to get my kids into the middle school, to get away from that place.
This is the best elementary school in Pike County in my opinion thanks to the principal Mrs.Wolfe she really keeps this school well organized and she truly is all for the children she will help you any way she can.
