Mrs. Gray and the rest of the staff at Caldwell County Primary are wonderful. They really care for the children who attend their school. My son is going to be a 3rd grader next school year and I'm really going to miss all of the staff at the Primary School. I know my son will miss them too.

I work with children in the community and closely with the schools. This school cares about their students personally and academically. The staff are dedicated to the success of every child. I feel that my own child is loved and nurtured every day. I know that she is getting a great education and I can rest easy knowing that her teacher cares about her. The children that I work with are also blessed in many ways through the teachers and staff that touch their lives and the academics that are provided.

As a parent and a previous primary teacher (not in this school system) I have been extremely impressed with the school's curriculum. As a parent I had concerns about my child entering school for the first time. My main concern was the fear of him getting bored (entering Kindergarten, he knew his alphabet, phonetic sounds, numbers etc.). I am very impressed with the staff's ability to reach his learning needs as well as others. We are very blessed to have a school like this one in our community.

While this school appears to truly care about children, the curriculum is very poor even to statewide standards. The math programs are seriously lacking any challenge for the students, while the english curriculum seems to be all they care about. Glad my son can read two plus two, unfortunately he doesn't know what it means. Parental involvement is welcome there, which is nice that we are allowed to donate our time, money and items almost every week. As far as the staff listening to what parents have concerns about, well they at least humor you for a little while until there's nothing you can do about your issue.
