love the school. the after school program is great. every school should have one
Parkway Elementary is a wonderful school that provides the best education possible to it's students. Everyone from the administration to the teachers love and care about the students. The academic programs that are being used at Parkway are aligned to the Kentucky core content.
I am extremely happy that this was the school my daughter had to start in first. The kindergarten teacher was amazing. My husband is in the military and she made the transition to another school so easy. The teachers are involoved and care about the children. If I had to choose a school this would be the one.
I am very disappointed with Parkway Elementary. The curriculum and expectations in the school is awful! I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone. I've had a terrible experience and I would gladly put my son in a private school if I could afford it at this time. I don't feel my son is getting the education he deserves at Parkway.
I am currently a Senior at North Hardin High School. Both my brother and I 'graduated' from Parkway. The teachers are absolutley amazing. The office admistration is positively wonderful. I enjoyed going to school there, and I plan on sending my children there. Though the teachers that I worked with, most are no longer there, I am familiar with many, many teachers, and they all do their best so that your child does thier best in everything. They have a wonderful music, art, and physical education program. The accelerated reading program is very involved in every grade. Parents are encouraged to come in and volunteer in their students classroom, field trips, and workshops. Parents are endouraged to come and visit their children and spend time with them. The school has 'Muffins for mom' and 'Doughnuts for dad' days, just so parents can come in and spend time with theirchildren.
When I went to this schol it was the best. I had a lot of friends, I loved the teachers. they helped me a lot. This is my favorite school in Hardin Co. I loved my teacher, she was fun and understanding, made learning fun. I'm really sad I moved away from that school. - Shameka Ennis student of 2004
