Salem is great a keeping parents informed. They ensure the parent is aware of their child's progress. Salem is an outstanding scool and their test scores show the amount of dedication all staff have for the success of students.

My child has went to this school since preschool, she will be in 6th when school starts. She has only missed 3 days total and I feel it's because of the teachers and the small classes. Each child gets more one on one attention when they need it, therefore they seem to learn more and their scores prove it. I am very pleased with Salem School and I give it 4 stars or 5, whatever the highest number is. This school is great and my child has learned so much, by the way, she has held an A-B+ average throughout the 7 years she's attended this school and by the end of 5th grade, she had A+,A- or A (nothing lower), I am a really proud parent.

salem ele.is great with parent involvement,my children started attending salem ele.in 1986 and Have two that are still attending.the school has only gotten better over the years, they have always involved me as a parent in every aspect of my children's education.Salem has a great music and library class as well as physical ed.and health, the quality of this programs have improved over the years, but the one thing that I really like is the one on one with each student, the teachers are always there for the students as well as the parents.i would recommend this school to any parent wanting a good educational environment for their children

Both my children have gone to SEMS for several years. I'm very very satisfied with the level of education they receive and the amount of work and effort the teachers put into each student. Teachers are GREAT about notifying the parent(s) of anything amiss. I am a single parent and their father and I both are very well informed of their academic performance or non-performance even though we may be divorced. The extracurricular activities are things I am not very well informed about, as my children are not involved in anything, YET! Once my schedule calms down then I can be more involved with them. Parent involvement is awesome, because the teachers and staff encourage it. Salem is the only elementary school for my kids, I would travel lots of miles to make sure they attend this elementary school.
