Spencer County Elementary School

My son is a 4th grader @ SCES and in the GT program....We are very proud of him! Without the support and guidance of the staff he would not excel to his best ! A great big Thank you to all of the staff....It's you that is helping us , as parents to develop these young minds into something spectacular !! A great school with excellent teachers....strong principal & school leadership and challenging academic programs

My daughter is going into the 3rd grade. She has been at Spencer County Elementary School since Kindergarten. We love everything about this school. It is beautiful. The teachers are wonderful. And the students are very well behaved. Our daughter is our only child. We are VERY over protective parents. But we feel extremely content when she is at school. We know she is in very good hands, and she is receiving an excellent education.

Due to lack of leadership in this district, we are moving in the wrong direction. This is a textbook 'good ol' boy' school district. Especially in the area of administration! Most of the teachers here are phenomenal, but they are not given the tools needed to help our kids. It has been very disappointing! Especially when we were so excited to be here!

It is beautiful, the teachers and staff are great and the students love it!!!!

My daughter is now in the 3rd grade at Spencer County Elementary and we have loved every year and look foward to 4th and 5th grade. I can only hope Middle School and High School are as wonderful. The Teachers, Staff, and Students are the best!

I have been very pleased with this school system. I was very impressed at how quickly my child was able to read in Kindergarten!
