Southside is a fantastic school with an extremely knowledgeable, caring staff. My son was challenged everyday to do his best and supported in that effort. His teachers encouraged him constantly and made sure he was well-prepared for middle school.

I think Southside is top ranking.Parents are very involved & the school is very secure. they know who is coming or going at all times. Our students have earned money from the state with their scores almost every year with the help of parent involvment and teachers that love the children and want their work to show through them. Southside is one of the best elementary schools in the county. The county has had to be redistricted once because so many parents wanted their children to go there. The children are involved in art(school plays,music,ect.)and for thoses who are interested we have the Falling Spings Arts & Recreation Center.We have community sports for elementary kids & school based sports for middle & high like soccer, football, track,wrestling,swimming,cheer,karate, ect. for boys and girls. It is one of three elem. schools located in a beautiful historical town in the middle of horse country.
