I had the best days of my life at vms but not 100% perfect tho.... The teachers were amazing also

I go to Virgie Middle School. I think it's okay but not perfect. I give it a 4/5 stars.

Virgie Middle School is a wonderfull place for my child. I feel that she is given every opportunity to succeed. In my opinion, the staff of the school are very professional and treat my child as they would their own. My child is not perfect and has had to be disciplined. I appreciate the fact that Mr. Osborne is willing to set boundries for my child (all students) and is willing to follow through when she crosses them. The only reason I didn't rate the school excellent was the age of the school. It's a shame those 'temporary' buildings are still being used. Shame on the Pike County Board of Education for not replacing those.

This school is old, but not any older than a lot of other middle schools. A new school would be nice, but is probably not feasible with the current board situation. The teachers are great to the kids, they really strive to give every kid an opportunity to do everything. The extracurricular programs are also great. It's a good place.

I beleive that we virgie middle school should get a new principal. The school is to old. We need 2 make new arrangements. Sincerly, virgie middle school student

Before my son entered virgie middle school, I was told that they did not want help from parents. I learned very quickly, that is not true! They want the help. Volunteering is easy and helps everyone including the students, our children. It is a wonderful place to be. Our teachers are wonderful and our principle is the best. They help any way they can. The sports are fun and educational. You will not find a better school in our area. If you are a parent, come spend time with us and you will see.

I was in the seventh grade last year and loved every second of it! Mr. Danny Osborne has done alot for the school this year and has made it an amazing experience for me and my fellow students! I was involved in the dance team, and loved every second of it! Virgie is very safe, there is a gate around the whole school, which is locked after a certain time in the morning, then reopened so parents can get in in the afternoon to pick their child up. They also made a new rule this past year that no student is alowed to make a phone call unless they were given permission by a teacher o staff member. VMS is definatley the best school in the world!

Virgie is the best school i have ever been to in my whole life because we have a great principal ever plus all the teachers are great. virgie even gives us volley ball, baseball, track, basket ball, football, soccer, cheering, danceteam and we rock at them all. thats my opinon and the rest of the eagles in the nest. Parents get really involved also. we have tutoring that help us pull up are grades. We have a great safty plan at breck all of the teachers in our grade watch over us and they lock up the gate so know one can leave or know strangers can come in. We have great cats scores and i think these years is going to be even better because our teachers,family members and our principal help us understand what we are doing and how we do it. so now you know VMS is the best.
