This school does not prepare its students to succeed at a college or university as adequetly as other public schools do. The focus at this school is on sports instead of music or the arts. The small town politics of this county are played out in the school administration. That being said, any experience in life - including school - is what you (the student) make of it. If you are willing to put in the hard work, you can succeed. Also, good parenting skills will always go a long way, regardless of school.

I am not a parent at GCHS, but I have recently graduated from there and I believe it is a wonderful school. It is a school that is involved with it's students and a school that cares. To the parent who posted that their daughter failed... I'm sorry but I think it may have been your daughter's fault. The teachers are not bullys! It's a great school and I recommend for students to attend it.

Simply put: A terrible school! Bullying is a HUGE problem. There's money for football but none for books! My daughter failed 9th grade and she is a good girl so go figure. This year I will home school her.
