I would not recommend Williamsburg Independent school to anybody. My child has gone here for over a year and she has told me that the lunchroom staff turn off the lights when the kids talk too loud (they're KIDS!), don't heat up the food that I pack her (she has medical reasons for needing her lunch packed) and she has been picked on by the same student yet nothing is done about it. Also they use a behavioral chart based on color (green=good/red=bad/yellow=bad) that she has told me "makes me feel like a bad kid". Shes not even 6 years old! Imagine how it would be if I left her in this school...not happening.
Williamsburg Independent School is not a 'great school.' My daughter has been going there for about 3 years and every single day she has been bullied and called names every time she walks through the door. That she is the worst school a child could go to.
Since its founding Williamsburg Independent School has excelled in academics while maintaining a family-like atmosphere between students, faculity and alumni.
