Recent Reviews
Wurtland is by far the best elementary school in Greenup County. The teachers are patient and work one on one with parents and students. My daughter started there this year. She came from Argillite, which might I add was a bad exiperence, making D's and F's, and now is making A's and B's. The Principal at Wurtland, is one of the most wonderful and child friendly person I have ever met. She is there not only for the teachers and stuff but the children. She makes learning fun and keeps the children wanting to come back day after day by making sure they have fun learning activies thoughout the year. I don't think I have ever been in a school that is actually so involved.
wurtland has come along way in the last 15 years my children attended and it was a good school now my grand children are attending and it is awesome he has accelled to above grade average best school in the district great teachers and staff learning there is fun not a chore the kids are really learning other schools should take notice and join wurtland in making learning a fun great adventure
my children are enrolled there and they love it teachers are so nice to them
