As a third generation Peabody Magnet High School graduate, I can attest that it was one of the best schools I attended. Peabody's honor and advanced placement courses prepared me for a sucess in college and in life, and I am very proud to be a part of the warhorse family.

Peabody Magnet High School is a family that has faced many challenges and adversities throughout their days. The student body and facilitators strive towards excellence. There is a wide range of academic programs which appeal to the many students on various levels. The Magnet Program provides students with many opportunities to excel in specialized fields such as nursing, law, and animation. The athletic department is growing at a very fast rate they're many sports available such as soccer, swimming, baseball, football, and the 2007 STATE CHAMPION BASKETBALL team. The parent participation level is notable and still growing. Many parents participate in the tailgating committee. Lastly, there is only one race at Peabody and that is GREEN! -ROMS

The Teachers are excellent. Extracurricular activites are OK. SAfety and Discipline are non existent due to the fact the sports teams, parent groups, and favorites of the administration are allowed to do as they please. The Magnet program is OK.

This is a great school but it does not get all the credit that it should. It has a rich tradition in sports, and academic excellence. The teachers and administration are among the best in the parish. Parental involvement is like no other school in the area.

Peabody has a great magnet program. They also have a great Nursing program, JROTC program, they will also be getting a grant from the state to start a Journalism program. Peabody's Marching band is one of the best bands in town.Their basketball team were State Champions, their football team has come a long way and so has their Powerlifting team who has recently had three students qualify for state. The level of parental involvement is like any other high school.
